We put it right

If your book does not look like your child, or anything is wrong with it, tell us within 30 days. We will repaint it or refund you, whichever you prefer, and you keep the book. You never have to post anything back.

Before you pay

You see your child painted on the cover and the first pages for free, before you pay anything. If it is not quite right, paint it again. You only order when you love it.

After you order

• Every page is checked before your book is sent, and a person looks at any page that needs it.
• Does not look like them? Reply to your order email or write to hello@mypaintedstory.com and tell us which pages. We repaint them and send you the new book, or refund you.
• Printed book damaged, or a printing fault? Send us a photo and we reprint it free, or refund you.
• A name typed wrongly? We correct the digital book for free, and can reprint a printed book at cost.
• Not arrived? If a printed book has not arrived within 14 working days, we track it down, and reprint it or refund you if it is lost.

Why we can promise this

Every book is made just for one child, so we would rather make it right than argue about it. This promise is on top of your rights under UK law. Our terms of sale have the details.
