Buying for someone else? Give a year of stories
How it works
Three steps, then a story every month.
1Tell us about your child
Their first name and a photo. We paint them as a storybook character.
2Choose their first story
It is painted straight away, so you can read it together today.
3A new story every month
On the 1st of each month, a new adventure arrives in their library.
For grandparents and godparents
Give a year of stories
Twelve stories starring the child you love, one every month. You pay £59 once and it never renews. We send a beautiful gift email on the day you choose, or you can print a gift card.
Questions
Good to know
How do I cancel?
In your account, open Story Club and choose Cancel. It takes a minute, with no forms or phone calls. Your membership carries on to the end of the time you have paid for, and every story you have received stays yours.
When do the stories arrive?
Your first story is painted as soon as you join, usually within a few minutes. After that a new story arrives on the 1st of every month, and we email you when it is ready to read.
Can I add a brother or sister?
Each membership is for one child, so every story stars them. For a brother or sister, join again with their name and photo from your account.
What happens to my child’s photo?
We use the photo once, to paint your child as a storybook character, and delete it within 7 days. For members we keep only the painted character, so we can paint them into each new story. You can delete it, and everything about your child, from your account at any time.
How does the hardcover discount work?
Members get 15% off every hardcover: £29.74 instead of £34.99, with free UK delivery. Order any story in your library as a hardcover and the discount is applied for you.
Can I change between monthly and yearly?
Yes, at any time from your account. We work out the difference for you.
