Adventure stories for 3 to 7 year olds: jungles, pirates, diggers and racing cars

The best adventure stories for young children have a bit of excitement, a lot of fun, and someone being kind at the end. Here are the ones we are proudest of.
Jungle
The Lost Roar: a tiger cub can only say "meep". Nobody in the jungle helps (the parrot just repeats everything, and the sloth starts answering on Tuesday and is still going on Thursday). His roar comes back when it really matters.
Pirates
The Very Polite Pirates: a pirate ship sails into the paddling pool and your child becomes captain of a crew who say "after you" and always give the treasure back. The sea monster turns out to have a wobbly tooth.
Diggers
The Night the Diggers Woke Up: the building-site machines need someone in charge overnight. The crane is scared of heights. By morning, the town has a brand-new playground.
Racing cars
Sprocket the Little Racing Car: an old green racing car who talks in rhyme wakes up under a dusty sheet, enters the Great Hill Race, and stops to pull the boastful big red car out of a muddy ditch. They finish nearly last and win the biggest cup of all.
Superheroes
The Great Sock Mystery: odd socks are vanishing all over town, and your little superhero finally finds out where they go.
