How long does a personalised book take to arrive?
Short answer: the digital book arrives the same day, usually within the hour, and the hardcover usually arrives within about a week.
The digital book
As soon as you order, we start painting your child into every page of the book. When it is ready, we email you the digital book as a PDF. You can read it on a phone, tablet or computer straight away, or send it to a Kindle.
That makes the digital book perfect for a last-minute birthday or a present you can open on a tablet.
The hardcover
Hardcovers are printed and bound in the UK, then posted with tracked delivery. Most arrive within 5 to 7 working days of ordering. We email you when it is printed and again when it is on its way, with a tracking link. Delivery in the UK is free.
Every hardcover order includes the digital book too, so you can share it while you wait.
Christmas
For a hardcover to arrive before Christmas, order by 12 December. After that, the digital book is the safe choice: it can still be ready on Christmas Eve.
Tip: Ordering a hardcover as a present? Print the first page of the digital book and pop it in a card on the day if the book is still on its way.
Books for difficult times
Our books for when a child has lost someone, or is going through something hard, are checked by a person before they are sent, so the digital book can take up to a day. Hardcovers of these books go by express delivery at no extra cost.
