Arjun had built a rocket out of a big cardboard box. It had a round window, a shiny foil nose and a big red button for blast off.

That night, a little light blinked on the moon. Beep. Beep. Beep. "Someone needs help," whispered Arjun.

Arjun climbed into the rocket and pressed the red button. Three, two, one... WHOOSH! Up, up, up into the night sky.

They zoomed past the clouds, waved to an owl and an aeroplane, and flew on into the twinkly dark.

Bump! The rocket landed on the moon. Arjun took one step and bounced, boing, boing, as high as a house.

In a dusty crater sat a little silver robot. "I'm Bolt," he beeped sadly. "My wheel came off, and I can't get home to my moon base."

Arjun rolled up his sleeves. With a twist and a turn and a little bit of tape, the wheel was as good as new.

Bolt spun round and round with joy. "Come and see my home!" He beeped, and showed Arjun the moon base, with its glowing round domes.

Then they went for a ride in the moon buggy and looked at the planets through Bolt's big telescope. Saturn's rings sparkled like a necklace.

From the moon, Arjun could see the whole Earth, blue and green and round. "That's my home," he said. "And it's nearly time for tea."

Bolt gave Arjun a shiny moon rock to remember him by. "Come back soon," he beeped, and waved until the rocket was a tiny dot.

Arjun was home just in time for tea. And now, when a little light blinks on the moon, Arjun knows it's Bolt, saying hello.
